Yes, there are warmer Castelli jackets and jackets that offer more wet weather protection but the Mortirolo V offers warmth, breathability and flexibility in those dry just above freezing to mid-teen?spring temperatures that you actually want to ride in.

Using fully windproof and breathable fleece lined Windstopper X-Fast fabric for the front and front of sleeves provides all the insulation of our top winter jackets. This is combined with engineered knit side panels and warmer fleece fabric on the back that massively improves warmer weather performance and enhances the fit and shape of this jacket.

The three rear pockets sit above a massive reflective and waterproof dropped tail there is also a reflective/Hi-Viz wordmark on the chest . However, the standard version with fluo yellow detailing isn't exactly discreet.

The easy sliding YKK Vislon zipper can be operated in gloves while the zen collar with neck baffle protects your neck from the closed zip.
