Shuttle AM Ride SLX/XT e-Bike
Our rides never last as long as we want them to, and that's often because we've only got so much energy in us to make it just a little farther than our previous outing. That's what changes with the Shuttle Ride SLX/XT e-Bike from Pivot. It's designed to take us further, faster, and with all of the features we love in our regular mountain bike. The climbs become easier and the views that much sweeter. It helps us enjoy our ride more and take more pleasure in exploring what we were not able to reach before. Paired with Shimano's XT drivetrain, the Shuttle is ready to get us moving and grooving on any trail we choose.
Now, let's get down to the nitty-gritty. The Shuttle is a Class-1 eMTB, which means it's designed to assist us while we pedal and enhance our efforts, and not act as just a throttle. The DU-EP800 drive unit on the XT build delivers smooth assistance to our pedal stroke in three different modes, including walk mode, depending on if we need an extra boost for our ride or extended battery life.
Shimano's XT drivetrain delivers precise shifting across the 12-speed cassette. We're promised reliability and crisp shifting action that stands up to the rigors of mountain biking. Powerful 4-piston brakes offer the stopping power we need when we're headed back down the climb we just put our all into, and DT Swiss e-bike specific wheels, paired with durable Maxxis tires, ensure we can roll over technical terrain. Plus, we're provided the grip we need to weave through tight corners on the trail.
*Due to unprecedented demand in the global supply chain and the bike industry over the last 18 months, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be minor. If you have any questions, reach out to a Gearhead by chatting online or calling 1-888-276-7130.
