The Cipollini Dolomia Disc Frameset can be your canvas for creating one of the lightest climbing bikes in the world. Cipollini is known for speed, but the Dolomia focuses on flying up climbs and remaining agile in any situation. Still, it comes with that Cipollini touch of speed. This is most noticeable on descents, where the Dolomia will feel fluid and solid despite its low weight. The Dolomia frame was in development for over a year in pursuit of creating the perfect climbing frame. Cipollini sought out testing from professional riders, went through over six months of ride testing, and tried over 20 different carbon layups. The final result was a lightweight road superbike that satisfies the best riders in the world, including Mario himself.
The Dolomia frame is made with Cipollini??¢s True Carbon Monocoque (TCM) engineering. This means that the entire frame is a single piece. There are no bonds, seams, or need for access material across the frame. Most frames on the market require an insertion of the rear triangle, but Cipollini TCM creates a true monocoque frame in every sense of the word. Thanks to this world class carbon construction, the Dolomia Frame comes in at just 780 grams in a size medium. On top of the weight cutting benefits, this carbon technology makes the frame stronger and less prone to deterioration, keeping its high level of performance over time.
Cipollini bikes are praised for their speed and reactiveness. The Dolomia managed to maintain those qualities in this lightweight frame by customizing geometries for each size. A geometry that properly fits the rider‘’s body results in outstanding control, even at high speeds. Cable routing is completely integrated internally thanks to a special fork and steerer, helping the bike maintain a sleek look and proper cable management. With a 3K finish for optimal stiffness and lightweight componentry, this frame is as light as possible in compliance with UCL regulations. The Cipollini Dolomia is a road superbike that will help you fly up climbs without losing speed on the way down.
